More than 675 Youngstown State University students have assumed leadership positions at clubs and organizations across campus.

In August, Champlain College welcomed the class of 2020 to its Burlington, Vt. campus.

Elizabethtown College welcomed 57 Momentum students to campus this week. Momentum is a voluntary, interdisciplinary approach to introducing first-generation college students to the Liberal Arts and Sciences and help them prepare for the academic expectations of college.

More than 125 Lebanon Valley College students will march with The Pride of The Valley Marching Band this year. The marching band performs at all home football games as well as appearances at various exhibitions throughout the fall semester.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2016 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

After posting identical marks the last two years, Kutztown University surpassed its previous mark by 17 student-athletes in 2016 by recognizing 162 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athletes, the most in school history.

Kutztown University has conferred degrees on nearly 1,500 students during the winter and spring terms. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish their requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The following students have been awarded degrees since the winter 2016 announcement. Students who have requested privacy (FERPA) are not listed publicly.

The University of Scranton announced 1,600 students were named to its Dean's List for the spring 2016 semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence.

Georgia Southern University recently recognized nearly 2,600 students for excellence in academics on the 2016 Spring Semester Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

At 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, graduates in the Class of 2016 took center stage for Elizabethtown College's 113th Commencement. Regina Benjamin, 18th U.S. Surgeon General, was speaker.

Elizabethtown (Pa.) College announced the names of students whose outstanding academic performances have earned them the recognition of being included on the spring 2016 dean's list. Students on the dean's list are full-time undergraduate students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.

More than 1,650 students have been named to the Spring 2016 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

On Sunday, May 8, Emerson College awarded approximately 970 undergraduate degrees and 350 graduate degrees during the College's 136th Commencement ceremonies. Acclaimed novelist Alice Sebold, accomplished investigative reporter Juan Gonzalez, and celebrated poet and essayist Danielle Legros Georges '86 each received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree. Sebold gave the undergraduate address and Legros Georges gave the graduate address.

Students from Elizabethtown College took part in a Spring Break service trip, volunteering their time with Give Kids The World Village and fulfilling one of their Signature Learning requirements. Give Kids The World Village is a 79-acre, nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides weeklong, cost-free vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

Emergent Scholars at Elizabethtown College have attained at least a 3.75 cumulative grade point average at the end of their first three semesters. Qualified for the honor are full-time students who have not previously attended another college or university for full-time study and have earned at least 42 credits in the three consecutive semesters as a student at Elizabethtown College or one of its affiliated programs.
