Sixty-three University of Scranton student-athletes named to the Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll. The Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher and are at least at a sophomore level academically. The conference honored 365 student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll.

Northampton Community College students and local actors bring to life Sondheim's musical that turns back the clock on friendship and the high price of success. The story follows the lives of three friends - composer Franklin Shepard, lyricist Charley Kringas and writer Mary Flynn - and is told backward. Admission is free for anyone presenting a valid NCC ID, with a donation of a non-perishable food item. Everyone else is $5 for general admission - reservations are encouraged at ncctix.org. Kutztown University has conferred degrees on more than 1,225 students during the winter and spring semesters. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish the requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honor distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80.

The University of Scranton announced more than 1,650 students were named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2018 spring semester.

Students with a term GPA of 3.50 or higher were recognized for their academic achievement and named to Dean's List for Spring 2018.

East Stroudsburg University's Sport Management Club was the winner of Pocono Raceway's third annual Pocono College Tour. Four regional universities competed in the sports marketing contest to help promote the first NASCAR race of the season at Pocono Raceway. Teams developed marketing plans, completed surveys, worked with local businesses and planned an event to host Pocono Raceway for a day on their campus.

At the 186th Commencement ceremony on May 27, Wesleyan University awarded 745 bachelor of art degrees, 41 master of art degrees, 21 master of art in liberal studies degrees, and 20 doctor of philosophy degrees.

A total of 1,621 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Spring 2018 semester of the 2017-2018 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

Nearly 500 students celebrated their academic success and achievements during Lebanon Valley College's 149th Commencement Saturday, May 12, in Louis A. Sorrentino Gymnasium.
